Mental Health Week is held in November in week 47. During the Mental Health Week, various events will be organised around the country.
The Finnish Central Association for Mental Health has organised the Mental Health Week since 1974. The purpose of the theme week is to reduce stigma related to mental health problems, increase awareness of the prevalence of mental health problems and provide peer support to those who need it.
The theme of the Mental Health Week changes each year and highlights important topics related to mental health.
